Geo News Anchor Behind The Scene While Reporting

Geo News is a private Pakistani news channel, owned and operated by Jang Group. Geo Television Network started out with its flagship channel Geo TV, but has since launched several other channels which include the following: GEO Entertainment, GEO News, GEO Kahani, GEO Super and GEO Tez.

On 7th June, 2014, Geo News was banned by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority with 15 days ban and a fine of PKR 1 crore for serving a legal notice to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), government and the media watchdog for ‘defaming’ and ‘maligning’ the media house by accusing it of working on anti-Pakistan agenda.
